The Sunday market in Pollença
Pollença is a small town in the north of the Balearic island of Mallorca. Pollença comes to life every Sunday when thousands of people come to shop at the market. Farmers showcase their freshest produce whilst artists sell their latest artworks. There’s something for everyone, making the market a popular place to spend a Sunday morning.

Aerial view of Lago di Lugano
Lago di Lugano is an alpine lake high up in the Alps on the border between Switzerland and Italy. I took this photo from 30,000ft on a flight from Amsterdam to Milan. The town of Lugano in Switzerland, including its airport (bottom left), can clearly be seen. The causeway that crosses the lake (bottom right) carries highway no. 2 which is one of the main road links between Switzerland and Italy.

Flying into Innsbruck
The flight approach into Innsbruck, Austria, is simply spectacular! Passengers are almost at eye-level with the impressive peaks of the Alps. I took these photos on my flight to Innsbruck last summer. The massive peaks, the verdant valleys and the little villages were absolutely beautiful from the air!

White pebble beach in Albir
Albir is a small seaside town located halfway between Valencia and Alicante in Spain. The town is home to one of the most beautiful pebble beaches I’ve ever been to. The turquoise water of the Mediterranean Sea contrasts beautifully with the gorgeous white pebbled beach.

Quirky marzipan in Milan
This shop in Milan sells some of the quirkiest marzipan I’ve seen anywhere around. Check out the dentures!
