Downtown Seattle and Mount Rainier
The sun does shine in Seattle… sometimes. And when it does, the city looks absolutely stunning. Here’s a shot of downtown Seattle. The second and third photos are close-ups that show the majestic snow-covered peak of Mount Rainier, looming in the distance.
Sawyer glacier and a sea of ice in Tracy Arms fjord
On my recent cruise with the Wilderness Discoverer through Alaska’s Inside Passage, the ship sailed through the breathtaking Tracy Arms fjord. Sailing through a sea of ice with the massive Sawyer glacier in the background was a sure highlight of the cruise.
