The old town in Tallinn
Tallinn is the capital of Estonia and is situated on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland. Tallinn‘s old town, with its medieval architecture and gorgeous cobblestone streets, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. These days, Tallinn is a major centre for digital technology – Skype has its origins in Tallinn and still operates a research centre in the city. For the casual visitor, Tallinn’s old town remains the primary and best-loved attraction.
