Falling in love with Basilicata
Caspar, a young Dutchman travels to the Basilicata region in southern Italy to get away from the daily grind, in search of inspiration. In Basilicata, he discovers a world of new adventures and passions. His journey is beautifully captured in this visual story:
Views of Salta from San Bernardo Hill
Salta is a city in northern Argentina that’s the perfect base from which to explore the region’s amazing natural attractions such as the Las Conches gorge and the expansive salt flats of the Salar Grande. There are many things to see in Salta, amongst others, the impressive Cathedral and the beautiful San Francisco church. For an aerial view of the city, take the cable-car to the top of San Bernardo Hill.

Little India in Georgetown, Penang
Georgetown is the capital of the state of Penang in northern Malaysia. The old city centre, with its beautiful colonial architecture and Chinese mansions, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of my favourite neighbourhoods in the city centre is Little India. It’s a colourful neighbourhood with shops selling aromatic spices, brightly-coloured sari’s, incense and more. The city’s oldest Hindu temple, the Sri Mariamman temple is also located here. Oh, and the food is amazing! Don’t miss the roti canai!

Views of Melbourne from the Eureka Tower
The Eureka Tower, at 300m, is the tallest building in Melbourne, Australia. The observation deck at the top offers phenomenal views of downtown Melbourne and as far as the coast and the Dandenong Mountains. Thrill-seekers will have fun at The Edge, a glass cube which slides out from the interior of the building and features some terrifying special effects!

Mendoza’s Plaza Independencia in pink
My visit to Mendoza in Argentina several years ago coincided with a breast cancer awareness conference in the city. To promote awareness, the fountain in the city’s Plaza Independencia was coloured a bright pink.
