The icy blue spikes of the Perito Moreno glacier
The Perito Moreno glacier in Argentinian Patagonia is one of the world’s most famous glaciers. It’s impressive icy-blue spikes tower 60-80 meters from the lake!

My favourite shop in Grasmere
Grasmere is a charming village in Cumbria’s Lake District. If you’re visiting Grasmere, drop by the Herdy shop for the cutest Herdwick sheep souvenirs, like these irresistible Herdy banks. Oh, and ask them to start making fridge magnets too, like the one I found in Patagonia (pictured below). Sheep wool and fridge magnets make a fab combination!

The tri-borders of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay
One of the world’s most spectacular falls, the Iguazu Falls, is located not too far from the tri-borders of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. This photo shows the point at which the borders of the three countries meet at the confluence of the Rio Parana and Rio Iguazu: Argentina in the foreground, Brazil in the right corner and Paraguay on the left.
